We are beginning a unit on the Persians and Zoroaster in my world history class.  Being a classicist, I love this stuff, and I have a fairly good prior knowledge; nonetheless, I am awed at how America (and out State and National legislatures) has taken gun control and made it into a “good versus evil” and “black and white” issue.  Meanwhile, our “good” legislatures shove god and guns down our throats.  Yeah, I feel safe.  Let’s figure this thing out.  First, at home, and then, in our public schools.  Let’s raise some voters that can think clearly and remember who isn’t answering this call! via Dance.
